Dammit, Carleree, you're right. Then how the hell do you know what Luke even looks like?

RE: waiting. I think you can do nothing at this point. Don't email, don't call, nothing. DO NOT. Stay strong.
I follow all the Rodgers brothers on twitter. Luke has some videos up on youtube of his workout regimen. Awesome. Just awesome.

Mentor, who has an agent, says to go ahead and email to find out if they received my submission just be careful not to pressure about a response. Hands are shaking too hard to type an email up properly. This post took me ten minutes.

Oh, dearie me. You've given me a new waste of time.

Well, maybe it's not really a waste of time ;)
I've got it bookmarked :) This used to be the link under his profile on twitter, but now it's something about his brother's t-shirts. And he's funny, too. I live for his tweets.

Yes, I do know I'm pathetic on many levels.

Oh, I missed the update about your son. I must have newly acquired Rodgersitis. (Always was a fan of Kyle Boller.)

Are these baby teeth or permanent teeth? I hope the little guy isn't in pain anymore at least.

Rodgersitis, nice. There are worse things you could suffer from.

Unfortunately for the boy child, these are adult teeth. The problem is that he may need a root canal ($1000+ per tooth and he'll most likely need two) and with newly formed adult teeth, the roots aren't completely developed. On one hand that means doing the root canal will be tricky to get it done and still keep the tooth alive enough to finish growing the root tips. On the other hand, because they're newly formed and still open at the root apex, the nerve is getting twice as much blood flow. He could heal, but it's not a high chance of success either way.

He is not in any pain though. Because the nerve was so badly damaged, he doesn't feel anything at all. Not cold, not vibrations. Nothing. His gums are finally healing and the adult teeth on either side of the broken front two are beginning to erupt again.

I'm looking at twenty years of dental problems for those two teeth alone. In the end he'll need implants ($18000/tooth) but not until all his other adult teeth come in. He's handling it like a champ though. He doesn't care that they're broken. He was more concerned with his overdue haircut, which we remedied yesterday.

His teacher has been great, even modified the gym class so he could continue to participate and she sends notes home to let me know how the teeth are doing throughout the day. I'm on edge, waiitng for the phone to ring saying he was hurt again. He brought Pokemon cards to school today to try and lure the other boys away from the soccer field. He's lonely.

Oh, the poor kid. Give him a hug for me.

I had no idea that implants are that expensive. I hope they are covered by insurance. Give yourself a hug for me. Better yet, give yourself a cupcake.

They're not always that expensive, it depends on the doctor. Boy child is only seen by specialists, so it could change by the time he needs them. We have a good dental plan, but some of this isn't covered because they're specialists. I've filed a claim against the school's insurance, so they should be paying for everything my personal insurance doesn't for the next twenty years. I hope, anyway.

Hugs all around agreed. And cupcakes. Lots of cupcakes

Oh my gosh, can we focus on what is important?!!! Luke Rodgers is no way near as hot as Aaron. You guys need glasses, or are crazy, or something.

All right. I'm going to go out and have extra-marital relations with whichever Rodgers brother I can find. I am not picky right now. It's been a long day. Don't judge me.

As long as you wouldn't stoop to picking a random Baldwin I won't judge.

Sorry, I can't participate in the witty repartee. The Caps are losing to the Sabres right now. This game could mean missing the playoffs. Damn.

It's time to jump ship and cheer for the Canucks. Can't you hear the fates calling you?

Is that what those voices in my head are called? Works for me.

Oh well, baseball season is about upon us. Or some of us, anyway. Go Nats!

I'm sure there are other Canadian sports -- curling, sled dog competitions, beer-chugging contests, and so on, eh? (In my younger days, I entered some chugging contests at assorted Club Meds. I could beat any US folks handily, but was always outclassed by Canadians.)

I know support for baseball there is limited. My team was once the Montreal Expos. At home games, we always have a few souls with Expos garb on.

Just curious -- do you guys also get constant spam from Canadian pharmacies offering you cut-rate prescriptions?

***********************************************

Several entries in Janet Reid's blog mention that there were a number of well-written contest entries. I didn't want to hear that. I wanted to hear that just about everything was drek, except for one shining entry with a Scotch-drinking protagonist. I guess that makes me a bad person.

I would simply like some encouragement that I can put one word after another. Mr. Editor, sitting on my NF for months rather than the indicated weeks, yet to respond to my recent nudge -- this means you!
