    May 2010 Blog Chain

    Hello everyone,

We finished the April Blog Chain already and it was the first one I participated in (I'm a newbie.) Now, here I am, offering to host the next blog chain. Label me crazy and let's move along!

I did a little homework and browsed the past blog chains to make up my mind about a theme. If you don't like it, let me know; I have oodles of ideas. I'll just run with my favorite one as the initial suggestion and act as if it was the only one I have.

I hereby baptize this blog chain AW May Musical Blog Chain.
Why? Because the topic I picked up is: What does your story/character(s) sound like?

You can take this from any angle: what do you listen to when you write, which song summarizes your story the best, etc.
I like this idea because it enables us to talk about our favorite music and our writing (that's what I loved about the April Blog Chain though past chains had non-writing-related topics too.) Are you up for it?

If you are, don't sit there staring at your screen! Scroll down to the reply box and enter your blog's address so I can add you to the list!

Each participant posts when his number is up. The first one (me) will go May 1st. Even if the blog chain has started, you can still be added to the end of the list.
When it's your turn, you have two days to post your participation, and then publish the direct link to your post in this thread.
If you are unable to publish your entry within two days, the chain will move along to the next person. You will be moved at the end of the chain if you request it so (here or by a quick PM to me).
Your post must include the list of the blog chain's participants with the link to each blog.

The aim of a blog chain is twofold:
    a) Have fun
    b) Discover new blogs
This means that a true chain blogger reads and comments on the entry of the other participants. You're not a faker, are you?

I think I've done this right. Have I?
*The newbie looks around and hopes someone will join the blog chain before she starts to panic.*

Count me in. But keep me towards the middle of the list, I would prefer to post about two weeks in.

My rather amateurish blog about Fantasy Lit, Steampunk, and the struggles of an aspiring author: CScottMorrisBooks.com Yeah, we don't have enough 'aspiring writer' blogs already, I have to add to that?

I'm in again. Love the topic too, Aheila, as I always associate music with my characters, even before I get a clear visual on them.

You are all added to the list! Yea!

CScottMorris, I'll bump you a little more down the list when other bloggers join (and I'll try to find a minute to go back to comment on your last bolg chain participation now that the comments work.)

Yes 8thSamurai, you are doing this right. And since a few people are before you on the chain, you'll be able to see some posts before your turn comes.
So don't sweat it, you'll be find (says the newbie who started doing this last month.)
