Kate got back to me last week regarding my novel and suggested even more changes, some of which threaten to shorten the book and take it out of novel territory. I'll try to address these changes, but some of the new suggestions are huge.

Pretty sure Kate tweeted about my submission today, many many hours ago. Nary a word in my inbox, though! Super-nervous. She seems like a fantastic agent.

I queried on 1/14, and just heard back from her with a full request!

It's my first full request, so I'm trying not to get my hopes up, but she seems like such a classy agent, so I really hope she likes it!

Good luck, mbowman! Queried 2/11; hoping to hear soon. Via the tweets, it sounds like her interns are burning through those queries!

Has anybody else heard from Kate Epstein recently? She requested a full from me last week. A nice surprise as I had pretty much closed out the query due to it being sent 2 months earlier.

Good luck to anyone out there waiting along with me :)

Kate's email isn't working. What email address did you use? Thanks!

Do you have a referral? She may have a new/different email for subs then because her home page says:

As of September, 2011, I have decided to re-open broadly to nonfiction submissions only, and to fiction for young people (ages, say, 7-19) by referral only.

Not here, but there
Looks like her guidelines have changed for YA Fiction in that you don't need referrals anymore. I remember querying her last year and she sent me "only if I know someone she knows."

Unless I'm reading wrong, I don't see it anymore.
