I don't watch much tv either, but I used to like Friends. Now the only thing i watch is Supernatural.

I gotta tell you guys, nothin' scared me into wanting to change my diet more this month then my mom's recent bout of colon cancer. I had lost 20lbs two years ago and gained it all back and then some. Her doc said fast food, or food high in fat is murder on the colon and heart. I don't want colon cancer. So I'm gonna cool it on the fried chicken and the high fat ice cream and eat more cereal like adarkfox above. I gotta get my weight back down.

Doin' ok. Takin' mom to the doc today because we're concerned about the edema in her legs even though she's on a diuretic but other then that, she's doin' well. (Notice how I changed all of my "doings" to "doin". Eh? Like that?)

well, most of you don't know this but, since I started watching my diet and exercising more, I've lost 24 lbs since February...and it's slowing down now but I am so excited to be jogging on a daily basis again...I swear, if I gain it back by Christmas this year I'm going to...ummm...well...I don't know...but yeah, I'm at an age now where I really have to think about it...I don't want colon cancer or heart disease either and those are really silent lurkers for a lot of women out there
so...THREE CHEERS for being getting healthy everyone

I remember the nurses telling my mom even they were shocked at how much colon cancer they're seeing now. And they're seeing it in younger and younger people. There was one person on my mom's floor who was only 14 and had it? It's gotta be all the fast food we're eating.
It's hard though. I love those dollar menus. lol. Gotta give them up though.
