I called my son earlier today and told him I was up (out of bed), but my eyes didn't feel like I wanted to be.

It's beautiful out my window. The sun is bright and it's so green.

I hope to get out later in the evening and walk my sweet dog. Someone dropped her off here, I guess about a year ago (maybe not quite).

I've got broccoli cooking. I'm going to have butternut squash and probably pork chops. I hope to get dinner out of the way so I can get outside before it gets dark.

I didn't get my walk 'til dusk, and it was cut short by a stupid, creepy crawly flying thing that flew in my eye and started stinging. This is the second evening this week I've had a bug fly in my eye when I've been walking. It's not lions and tigers and bears I have to worry about.

That's one of the things I don't like about warmer weather...bugs!!!
