Cool [eZine] A Fly in Amber

Is A Fly In Amber safe? Or like Teenink.
Have you sent any MS to them and if so, did it work out? I'm just wondering and asking before I send my 250 word-count YA story to them.

Are you referring to this on-line magazine, or something else?

If you mean this one, I know a few people who've sold to them and not had any problems. It's not the biggest market out there, but there's nothing shady going on.

You can see from reading their submission guidelines that they're not trying to grab your rights like Teen Ink.

Last issue published Aug/Sept '10. Submissions page reads "closed to deal with backlog", but ....

Duotrope reports this market as dead.

I submitted and it went dead a few months later. So did Necrotic Tissue when I submitted there. I'm hoping this isn't a trend.
