Our Beloved Leader, not wishing to have to answer questions about our mission in Afghanistan, has shut down Parliament, again.

He did it last year when the Opposition formed a coalition with the express intention of forcing an election and unseating him.

You know what bugs me the most? He didn't even go to see the Governor General. He phoned her! And she, the stupid bint, let him get away with it.

Christ, I hate that man.

Harper is a nasty sort of person who shows nothing but contempt for the concept of democratic process. While it is legal to prorogue the House it is meant for emergencies and not political gain. (Prorogue the House means to suspend parliament for a time.)

The Governer General is meant to be the check on that abuse of power. But this one doesn't seem much good....
