Hello everyone

I've just stumbled across a new 'self publisher' who seem to offer the usual dubious promises at: http://www.floreatbooks.com/

They even have a film development pack. The fact, however that they spell 'liaison' wrongly doesn't bode well. They seem very new but I wondered if anyone had heard anything?

They're certainly trawling 'Net for customers, including at Authonomy.

dubious promises = run the other way

There really is no such thing as 'indie authors', as anyone not published by the 5 major publishers could also be considered 'indie'. At least that's how I understand it. Nice site, but no different than any others. Inexperience is evident by the stupid 'buy US Copyright so no one steals your story' bit at the end of this page: http://www.floreatbooks.com/Publishing Pages/Publishing Landing Page.htm No word on who's behind it? No thanks. Companies with nothing to hide hide nothing.
