    [Article site] HubPages

I recently joined HubPages as a way of making my first attempt to derive income from my writing. I got a bit of a red flag when the introductory info. was very clear and easy to understand until the part where it describes how writers get paid. At this point, unfamiliar jargon was introduced and not defined.

If anyone has information, especially first-hand experience with HubPages, I would appreciate your input.
It is through the perfect economy of divine providence that our individual lights naturally merge into a unified beacon that better illuminates the path for each individual, the community, the nation, and even the world. This is the beauty of the social creature.
The world needs more light, and those who see the light are the light itself.

The writer apparently gets 60% of the revenue from any Google Ads on his/her site.

    Similar to Examiner.com and eHow.

(that is, if you're familiar with either of those...)

Focus for '16 has been to recover from Google's refinement of its algorithms (e.g., Panda). Changes include grouping hubs by topic, as well as increased editing and moderation. http://blog.hubpages.com/2016/02/02/new-year-new-sites/
