No experience with them, but it looks like they've been around and have some solid sales here and there. Mostly non-fiction, but one agent is looking at YA fiction, which has me interested.

I met Doe many years ago in Cambridge, MA -- she's a nice person, and before becoming a non-fiction agent, worked at one of the major non-fiction houses. I can't remember which, but I believe one of the houses publishing lots of textbooks. In the 1980s she took on an associate to give fiction a try. That person didn't work out because she didn't sell anything. I actually remember her name because it was a lovely Italian name, but no point posting it here for google purposes because she left the industry.
I received a full request from their YA agent, Amanda Lewis, this morning. She was very nice in her query reply and stated she liked the sample pages I sent with the query and would like to read on. If I have other communication with her, I'll let you all know!
Since these posts Amanda Lewis seems to have left the agency. She's no longer listed on their page: http://doecooveragency.com/about.htm
