The
About Sheaf House is...interesting.
Some sweeping statements about "traditional" publishing, but no indication of how she (Ms. Shoup, publisher) would know. That is, no actual experience with commercial publishing, either as author or at any other type of industry insider job.
I get nervous when a publisher's mission statement is something other than "Make Money From Selling Good Books To The Reading Public". Publishers must earn to stay afloat, obviously, and if the money isn't coming from the general reading public, then it's coming out of the authors pockets.
I've no knowledge about the christian niche market though. Are things done differently?
