Hey, all!
I'm here because I met MacAllister Stone at the recent Viable Paradise XIII workshop where she was acting in support of the students and teachers. She was swell, so I felt an obligation to come by her website.
Little did I know that it was going to be this... intense.
I'm a writer, artist, and hobbyist cook and musician living in Berkeley, California. Right now I'm a full-time student who's working on a three-volume novel. The first volume is undergoing the final polish before I start shopping it around.
If anyone was looking at the internet back around the turn of the century, I used to write animation scripts for Mondo Media, mostly for Thugs on Film. I've been published in the small press regularly for the last few years. I write a fairly wide variety of material, but the elements that crop up most frequently are humor, horror, and autobiography -- and that mix pretty much describes my novel.
I'm a paleontological artist, and am affiliated with this website:

I'm the assistant editor, designer, and artist for Swill magazine (The Small Press Literary Magazine That Tries A Little Too Hard To Act All Badass):
http://swillmagazine.com/
(As an aside, Swill is currently accepting submissions. If you have a story too ugly, weird, or diseased to fit in anywhere else, Swill wants you!)
I also blog at Renaissance Oaf. Here's a post that has a nice selection of casual autobiographical pieces and a number of essays on writing.

I'm cutting down on my web presence in order to focus on my writing and art, but I'll post here from time to time. For those who've seen it, I'm the dude who put the chili-dog casserole recipe up on the food board. And yeah, that recipe pretty much describes my life.
Catch you later.
