Communists are better Capitalists than we are

I dunno. Buying a brand that automatically swerves into every gas station it passes in this day and age? I don't see that as a good capitalist move.

Although maybe they're going to sell exclusively to their military?

A Hummer? Used in the military? Next you'll tell me they have 30-minute commercials on TV starring Chuck Norris hawking exercise machines.

The Chinese aren't really communists anymore. They are authoritarian as hell, but have wholly embraced big-time capitalism on a global scale. And are doing fairly well at it.

Tonight I'm going to be having nightmares about Chinese streets crowded with Hummers. Just what every motorcycle cab passenger wants to be surrounded by on a road without discernable lanes.

Manchurians are going to hate this. They are tall people. Hummers are only fit for people five-feet-six or shorter. I've never sat in a vehicle with less headroom.

Give the Chinese government credit. They've managed to embrace capitalism while keeping all of the tyranny and oppression that comes along with communism. They've really gotten the best of both worlds (from their point of view).
