I've been skimming around these halls, reading a lot of very interesting threads, one of which has spurred me to think seriously about what I truly love to read. That would, without doubt, have to be historical fantasy...sexy historical fantasy, that is. Jacqueline Carey's Kushiel series has been a favorite, but I am curious if there are other authors out there who write historical fantasy with a romantic twist I am missing.
I am also curious if there are any historical fantasy discussions here? I've used the search tools, and looked at this group's posts listing, but nothing specific leaps up. My #1 wip, the one that brought me here in the first place, is historical fantasy...would love to understand the subgenre better. (I envy the Urban Fantasy thread--great information and discussion in there, but UF is not where my writerly heart is, though I am still interested in it, as a reader)
Thanks!
