If we counted by tens we'd get there faster, you know, use the decimal system to advantage. Were that the case we'd be up to 4070 by now... just sayin'.

this has been a long stretch of below freezing (and below 0 at times), but my mid-week the temps are supposed to climb above freezing - break out the shorts and tank-tops

Percentages are a relative thing, I think. Wouldn't it be nice to have a job like a TV weatherperson, toss a percentage number out if it's going to rain or not, and then no matter what happens they can say, 'I was right'. Life would be so much simpler if exactitude wasn't so necessary in things like aircraft dimensions and toaster parts.
