Ha! Beat that!
Oo, like maybe Paris Texas Chainsaw Massacre!Using the same fundamental criteria Rob set down at the beginning of the thread, how about redoing some movie scores....
Alice Cooper and Charles Bernstein: Welcome to my Nightmare on Elm Street.
I'm only having a bad dream now, right? Right? Nothing like that ever really happened, did it?Michael JacksonStevie Wonder and Paul McCartney singing a crappy song about racial harmony.
Oh?
Not actual horrible duets, then?
I remember seeing that episode when it originally aired. Yes, I admit it, I regularly watched the Gong Show. Anyway, there's no way I could have pointed to anyone on that stage and said, "this person is going to go on to become one of the most accomplished composers of our era." It truly is amazing to see where Elfman started out. Bizarre as that video is, in hindsight you can see where the quirkiness in Elfman's scores came from.(Really, Charlie? The Gong Show? Wow - that's news... amazing!)
