Saying hello...

I wanted to say 'hi' to everyone! I'm a newbie in so many ways: 1. I just wrote my first book (and subsequently, rewrote my first book) 2. I sent out my first queries (received my first 2 rejections) 3. this is my first forum of any kind 4. this is my first post to a forum of any kind. I truly have absolutely no idea what I am doing, but I'm having a blast! Ya know...except for the mind-boggling terror of trying to get published. Is it always this terrifying, or do you get numb to the fear? Ha ha!
I do want to say this: All the writers in this forum are totally excellent!! You've given this newbie tremendous direction in my first steps towards my dream of publication. I thank you all!!!
