I've been lurking for a couple of weeks and have decided to join the ongoing conversations. The water cooler seems like a pretty cool place to hang out!
Writing is not new to me, but turning it into an ongoing source of income is. Web writing is definitely a different beast than print! It's a learning curve for sure, and that's why I appreciate the forums here at AW.
I am currently writing for Demand Studios, a computer tips newsletter, and just got accepted to Suite 101. I've also submitted an application to Examiner, but I'm still on the fence about that one. Got a lot of ideas about other publishing venues as well as ideas for several books.
I titled my intro "Aloha, new friends!" because I'm a Hawaiian gal. I'm no longer living in the islands but will always consider it "home." Aloha is used for hello, goodbye, love, and a friendly spirit.
