The British chapter of the SCBWI had its first in the London Professional series last night, with editors from Random House, Chicken House, Andersen Press, Gullane Children's Books and Little Tiger Press talking about the kind of things they're looking for and I've put up a write-up on my blog:

Gah! After a rough first week of classes, I finally got to my review of Cinder by Marissa Meyer! It is titled Cinder, and the Multiple Identities That Can Help Your Confidence, and explains the importance of knowing your reading and writing identities because they inspire each other, and help you stay confident in your writing choices.
