It occurred to me today that the concert rider is a rather unique document, one that requires a certain amount of writing skill. For those who don't know, a rider is an attachment to a standard performance contract, that spells out specifics the band requires such as the infamous "ten pounds of M&Ms but no brown ones" purportedly found in the Van Halen rider.
Well, there's one rider I just ran across that I think is the most entertaining piece of writing I've seen in some time:
