Have You Updated Your Blog Today?

I'm still getting used to blogging. I updated today with a short story based on one of my characters

I almost feel a little traitorous saying this in a forum full of writers, but I've been seduced by the dark side. I've started to get interested in photography.

I thought it would be a clean break from writing. Something different. A little light relief of a hobby that I could pursue when I'm not able to write. That's what I thought. The reality seems to be that writing and photography have a lot more in common than I thought.

Maybe there are things we can learn from another artistic medium which can also apply to writing?
