I talk about how J.R. Ward's sold-out virtual signing of Lover At Last is good news for M/M romance writers - and SF&F writers, if they would just realize it.

I actually created a new blog this morning, dedicated to pop culture (as opposed to just my writing blog). I put up a short introductory post this morning, and I just posted an analysis of Star Trek seasons, series, and films after crunching various averages based on TV.com's average user ratings. Totally geeky.
    Complete:

    Becoming a Hero (10 stories)
    Destined (3 stories)
    Vampire Killer (4 stories)
    Blackjack Jill (3 stories)

    Revelatio Dearum (1 story)

    WIP:

Our Lady of the Sea and the Moon (21042/100000)
    Vampire Killer #05 (552/2100)
    The Age of Ascension (2326)
    Vanity City #01 (2939/20000)
I Can Kill You With My Brain (515)
    Blackjack Jill #04 (3004/3000)
    Destined #04 (editing)

Submissions for a new sci-fi anthology popped up on my radar.

    Monopolies and Powerlessness

[How] far would I feel comfortable going? Would I file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau? If they did something horribly egregious, would I feel comfortable taking legal action against them? [...] Because there’s still the troubling fact that I need them a lot more than they need me.
