Very cool, and interesting. As someone who just started blogging, I'm excited to see folks I've never met reading and commenting and tweeting about my pieces. I've had a very surprising volume of visitors, but nothing like the viral explosion you describe. Interesting that it was a more personal post that did it...and certainly one with a catchy title.

I'm encouraged that it wasn't your tweet that set off the explosion, but someone else's. I've embraced blogging belatedly but can't bring myself to tweet---will have to rely on the kindness of other tweeters.

A thread in the Mystery/Thriller/Suspense forum about Lee Child's take on busting writing myths has inspired today's blog post on "Tell Not Show"?
