G'day, absolute writers! Just stopping by the n00b forum to introduce myself. I live in Georgia with my wife, a beautiful woman who THOUGHT she understood what it would mean to have a husband devoted to his craft
But then, she's an English grad student about to start a PhD program, so I think it balances out
I think we both get the picture though. She's happy to see me getting published and I'm happy to see her come home every day groaning about how the world has lost the ability to read.
If you want to keep track of the misery that comes with developing your career as a freelancer, I have a blog in my signature that's about trying out all the awful (but sometimes good) advice about how to become successful. It's not ALL misery, but some of it can be pretty funny
