There is a bit of Germany that breeds giant rabbits for some reason...

My guess at the reason? Shits and giggles

Um... because it's a breed of giant rabbit? There are such things as pygmies, dwarfs, and giants in the rabbit world. (I have a palomino rabbit; he's of an average size)

People show rabbits just like dogs and cats. They breed them like horses, and there are TONS of breeds. The giant ones (which usually have long, LONG hair) are REALLY giant. Flemish giants are usually the biggest I think. I don't actually SHOW my rabbit, but when I got him I wanted to learn a little about what breed he was, so I searched the internets.

Now that's a good sized bunny! Can't be doing with the dinky ones, no good for cuddling. :)

And here I was expecting a photo of a really tall guy snacking on a Easter rabbit.... I feel cheated.

I heard one man was breeding giant bunnies for the sake of world hunger. He was hoping to get them into third world countries and have people there breed them for food since rabbits tend to breed rather quickly.

What's next, I wonder? The dreaded rabbit of Caerbannog?

Sorry, but I just can't seem to leave Monty Python quotes alone. Is there a support group anywhere?

When I saw this thread I knew two things right away.

1. that Celina would be the first person to post in it, and 2, that it would be epic.

Precognition FTW.
