Hi everybody. I have a question. There's a new web magazine called Good Days, Bad Days coming out and I have a poem I would like to submit to them but have been gun shy because I don't know if I could submit it elsewhere after it possibly gets published there. Here's a part of GD/BD founders e-mail to me regarding this issue-
Anything sold to GDBD will be placed on the web site and kept there indefinitely. It will be on the home page to begin with and then placed in archives. I try to be accommodating, so I suppose if an author had some pressing reason for a piece to be taken off the page I would take it off, but don't think I would buy something knowing that I would need to take it down.
I really can't speak for other publishers, but I think they would be looking at whether or not something had been previously published at all rather than whether or not it was online.
So now I don't know if I should send her the poem or not? What say all of you?
