So far we have two books for the voting, which I think we should do soon.

The Brief Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao by Junot Diaz
and
The Doorman by Reinaldo Arenas

Recommend a title for March!!!

I stumbled on this thread via 13-year-old dad. I've no idea what has been read previously, but if you're looking for something special, why not try

The White Tiger by Aravind Adiga, which won the Man Booker Prize 2008?

It will be added to the list to be voted on. Which, by the way, I guess we should vote soon so we can all get our hands on the winner in time to begin reading.

Discussion for WFE begins next week.

I'll post the voting thread for the March title today. Get your suggestions in now! There are already 5 titles suggested so I think it's time to get the ball rolling.

Really? That's odd. I would have thought you could find that book at pretty much any bookstore. How about the library?

Well, my Borders Express should really be called "Here at Borders Express you'll express yourself best without the book you want" or something like that. They are very, very small. But they have a whole wall devoted to that damn Vampire book.

Or what I like to call "kindling."
