I looked and looked but I couldn't find her on here or anywhere else!
Does anybody know anything about Marian Young of the Young Agency? I've heard about her from other author's sites but I can't find a web page or an email address. I heard that she accepts Christian Fiction, so I'm very interested.
Thanks so much!!!

Listed on P&E with the coveted $ sign.
Agent for Crystal Zevon.
Article with mention of her here, but you need a membership to read it. The visible part says "This agent is "not much of a flatterer," so her clients get honest feedback from her" and lists some clients.
Sale of two books from one client mentioned on SF Scope.
Listed here (you may already have seen this) as someone who represents Christian writers.
No website that I spotted, and a quick check didn't turn up a listing on Agent Query.

I've found very little myself, but it's all solid references to deals done.

Did you query her, Leigh?

I queried and never heard back...probably in mid May....I think on both my projects...

Well theres no query instructions. How are we supposed to know what she wants... or even what genre she's looking for? So far I know she's repped a christian book and a vampire novel. Doesn't tell us a whole bunch.

Did you check in at all to see if she got them?

No, but I think I'll do a status check since you mentioned it! LOL

BTW: How's the new agent hunt going? I finally took your previous guy's full stats off b/c I know I won't hear back!

Well, another fellow is reading the full. Haven't heard back yet, but it's way too early to bug him. So to take my mind off him I queried a few more this week. I'm considering the UK Tor War of the Words contest too, although it's an awfully long shot.

Mattie

I pitched Marian Young at the recent Thriller Fest in NYC and she invited me to submit. So far, so good. She has no website, and along with all the rest of you, I couldn't find much about her online. She is, however, a real person, and a very nice one. I'm glad to hear she has placed some of her clients' work, so here's hoping you have good luck!
11-1-11 -- I'm happy to report that Ms. Young has signed me on as a client, so she's real, she's serious and she also has a great sense of humor.

Congratulations, Mattie! I'm glad to hear good things about Ms. Young. I just stumbled on her name today. Does she still rep Bret Lott?
