Congratulations! Reminds me of when my wife won the same amount at a casino up north.

After taxes, and my wife spending a bunch of the winnings before leaving (I wasn't with her to drag her ass out

), the rest lasted a few months at least.

They've gotten most of it back since then, though...

Surprised you could win $10K on what looks like a quarter machine, though...very nice.

That's terrific! Don't spend it all in one place!

It probably will all go to one place. I had hoped to make enough cash to buy a fuel efficient small car for my business, which has the added benefit of leaving my truck for my daughter to drive back and forth to school.

A Hyundai Elantra runs about seven grand. I wonder if showing them the cash will help to seal the deal. I dunno.

I'm still in shock. My wife had just left in disgust, even though she was up about a hundred bucks, just because of the 10 times multipliers. She ranted that 'you never win anything on them, I'd rather just not see them.'

I hit it minutes after she left. It caused a heck of a stir in the casino, I'll tell ya.

and if i had to guess i'd think that they want you to finance moreso than pay cash -- that's where they prolly make the most money.

imho, cash won't get you the best deal.

I had the same experience as cray. I offered to pay cash for my last car, and the salesman told me that was no incentive because they make more money when I finance.
