Can we shoot the person who thought round shoelaces were a good idea?

I like round laces.

I think they look smarter. Particularly in dress shoes.*Waves hands in the air*

Oh, they definately LOOK better.

But I'm not willing to sacrifice functionality for looks.

well he didn't invent round shoe laces with evil intent of tripping everyone. It's not as if he hatched an evil plot to trick Fate - for people to have to bend down and tie their shoes at just the wrong moment, so missing the first sight as the love of their lives walk by at just the moment fate chose. It's not as if the guy thought, I'm going to frustrate the shit out of everyone on the planet by making them stop in the middle of a busy sidewalks to tie their shoes.

:jots this down as a story idea:

Yes. I stand by my statement. Well-meaning.

Behind you! Boo.
I might not shoot the guy, but I might throw something at him.

My kids are at a school that requires a uniform, even down to the shoes. And yes, the shoes come with those @#**% round shoe laces. If I can find flat, kid-sized, navy-colored shoelaces, I'll switch them out, but I usually can't.

So I spend my time with my daughters saying, "Tie your shoes. Tie your shoes. DOUBLE tie them then. Your shoes are untied again."

Yes, such problems I have.

LOL

Well, he's well-dressed, I'll give him that.

I thought maybe you knew something that I didn't (that perhaps OJ invented something lol).

He wasn't that sharply dressed. The glove wouldn't fit, remember?

That's cause it was actually Michael Jackson who did it. He's the only person I know who wears just one glove.
