Summer, unbridled eagle, talons out
blazing, spiralling down to grasp at love
and carry you to islands in the South.
Earthbound, I saw you soaring high above,
laughing in winds that bore you to the East,
surfing on clouds that mirrored ocean waves,
foaming to a shore, sands sparkling opalesce:
the hidden island home, all wanderers crave.
Perhaps I'll reach there, flying on dream's wings
singing soundlessly on the moons cool rays
transparant eagle caught in saturn's rings
gazing southeast, heart fluttering ablaze.
Mirrored then in the ocean's glasslike face
dreams meet and soar together to the stars.
