New Question of the Day:

In my WIP, I've decided to create a new species by combining two animals together. A kangaroo and a Rhino (Kangerhino :D ). The legs and body of a kangaroo, and head of a Rhino. Don't ask why. I just did.

If you could combine two animals together to create another species, what would they be, and what would you call it?

heh, catterfly. Right now I'm reading "Zoe's Tale" and it involves aliens that are kind of half giraffe, half spider, so I've kind of been contemplating animal combos.

Aside from that, though, I think I'm going to go bankrupt from downloading e-books. Seriously. I've downloadded like thirteen in the past three days. Read four of them all the way through in the past few days. I'm an addict!

I'd have to go with an aye-aye combined with a chihuahua. An aye-huahua? A chi-aye-aye? The aye-huahua would be THE most adorable, huge-eyed creature ever.

Just because I'm curious to know how many you can get. :D

New Question of the Day:

From the time you finish reading this question you have 30 seconds to write the names of as many of the seven dwarfs as you can. No cheating. Go.

Remember. No Cheating. No googling. No copying other answers. No taking four hours to think up all the names just cause you forgot one. No cheating. None. Nada. So recap of the rules... :D

I'm a big F1 fan, so play along :D

This weekend the Formula One season starts with the Bahrain grand prix. Last year it was Jenson Button's year, and well done to him for winning the Drivers Title. But...

New Question of the day:

Who do you think will win this years formula one drivers world title?

Randman has got all seven correct. Well, I think they are. I couldn't do it. Very few people can. It's like the song '12 days of Christmas'. No one can (without cheating and googling it) name all the 12 days. Most can do the first five and the fifth day of Christmas 'Five Gold Rings' is the easiest, as is the two turtle doves and a partridge in a pear tree. As for the rest? Well, it's a fun (ish) game you can play with your mates down the local watering hole.

Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donner, and Blitzen! Oh, wait, wrong critters....

No one except those of us who are active choral singers, maybe. I happen to have four different version of the song memorized, in addition to the usual version. My favorite has got to be the Twelve Days After Christmas (in which each gift is destroyed, returned and/or repurposed). But the Musicological Journey Through The Twelve Days of Christmas (in which each day is sung in a different historical style of music, starting with plainchant... day eleven is the dance of the sugar plum fairy, God save us poor second sopranos) is a close second.

Yes, my brain is full of useless junk.

I'm going to attempt to name all 12 days of Christmas.

A partridge in a pear tree
two turtledoves (what the heck are those anyway?)
three French hens
four calling birds
five gold rings
six geese a-laying
seven swans a-swimming
eight maids a-milking
nine ladies dancing
ten lords a-leaping
eleven pipers piping
twelve drummers drumming

that should be right...

And I promise, I did not use Google at all, though i really wanted to.

Clearly, there is a scientific reason for that beak thing that is too complicated to explain here :D
