NHL Teams Getting Desperate?

As I went to check the scores from last night (I keep records...the answer is no) for the NHL, I caught the headline from this article. I knew that some teams were struggling to draw fans to the games, but I never knew that some teams were this desperate for season ticket holders!

Not sure I get it. I think it has something to do with a hockey video game.

Oddly, I was just at a Blues game a week ago last Saturday...
Maybe they should just bring the Penguins in every game. They seemed to be packed full of Pittsburgh fans then.

Short of that, maybe they should take some lessons from the CHL (went to one of those this past Saturday)...
