Tessler Literary Agency (Michelle Tessler)

Michelle Tessler was the first agent to read my full manuscript, and the first one to reject it. However, I had an extremely positive experience with her. She asked for an exclusive read, which, at that time, I happily granted. She only took two weeks to go through it, and rejected it with useful comments. I would have loved to have her as an agent. However, it is my understanding that she has more experience selling non-fiction, but I think, is now trying to grow her fiction list.

Got a request for 3 chapters from Michelle Tessler. Anyone have any recent experience with her? Seems like a serious player in the industry, and she appears quick... turned around my query in 24hrs.

Has anyone queried her more recently? Are her turnarounds still that quick?

According to QueryTracker, if she's interested, she responds within five days. However, also according to QT, she's not interested in many things and if she's not interested she's a non-responder.
