You are offered Immortality- How would you react?

Suppose you are given the choice to live forever. How would you react? The only condition is this:

Your body stops aging from the moment you accept the offer. You may accept the offer at any moment during the remainder of your life.

On one hand, you have to outlive all your friends and family. On the other- if all the agents reject your WIP, just wait till they all die and till the next agent generation come along! (*evil laugh*)

My answer: No.
I can almost see armageddon on the horizon and have no wish to be alive when it arrives.

I feel it would be awfully dull to be left floating alone in space when the universe has torn itself apart.

1) Your physical body stops aging from the moment of acceptance.
2) If someone rips out your heart you still die.
3) You are immune to all diseases (except love).

4) You can still be murdered like any other man.

Well, if I could still eventually die but just not age, then that would be fun. I don't think I'd want to live forever though. Of course, if I'm understanding this correctly, I'd have to die a violent death to actually die...that could be gruesome. Still think I'd do it as long as I could at some point die.

Nah, I'm fine with mortality. I couldn't imagine outliving the kiddos and hubs. Not to mention their kiddos and hubs.

I would gladly accept such an offer, though I wouldn't tell anyone that I had. Hopefully, by the end of time, I would have learned everything that I had set out to learn and seen all there is to see.

I just had this conversation last night after watching the Heroes season opener.

Unending, undying immortality: NO. Never. Too scary.

But an immortality where I could be killed? Well, that's not technically immortality, but I could go for that. Maybe.

I could have put 'eternal youth' instead of immortality, but the first rule is that you stop aging from the moment you accept the offer.

When would you accept it? At 20, 50 or 70?

I still say no BTW. I can't imagine anything worse.
