Red face Original City Pictures (Eric Finkelman)

Put this thread in the screenwriting page... thought I'd send it here too.

    Thanks everyone...

Anyone ever heard of Eric Finkelman and Original City Pictures? Just received an email from him... "out of the blue". So, of course, I'm skeptical. (I do have 2 of my scripts on inktip.com, which could mean he saw me there, which then could mean he's legitimate and is interested in me and I'm being paranoid, but... better paranoid than gullible. I was gullible once before. Never again.)

Any help or information would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi Kev

I haven't heard of them (i'm not a screenwriter, so that may be why) but there are quite a few websites you can research. first is P & E (Preditors & Editors), Writerbeware.com and agentresearch.com

They are all updated regularly, and if there has ever been anything dodgy written about an agent, these guys will know about it. Good luck

When it comes to PA, the royalty check and the reality check arrive in the same envelope.

Remember to be kind to writers who step in PA. They really don't know how bad it smells.

The difference between PA and WLA? None. Both have the stench of dead and dying books emanating from their doorways.

Last work issued in '08, and Mr. Finkelman is now a manager with Fullscreen, Inc.
