Day Job?

mike-h

HI, just joined the forum and after browsing it for awhile i started to wonder what people did for their day jobs (the ones that aren't getting paid for full time writing)?

I get paid to do 3d computer modeling, computer animation and simulations for Architects, Engineers and developers.

What do you do?

I deal cards in a casino... sigh. College next year, finance/business- where you're nearly guaranteed dealings with people who have IQs measurable in the double digits! I can't wait.

I am a nothing. A sad little cog on the bottom rung of the corporate tree. I am good at mixing metaphors though. ;)

And after 1st August I will be unemployed. A bum. Kicked off said corporate tree and cast aside like a dirty rag. :(
Maybe you can become a sponge and move back home? :D

What is your day job?

Hi All, :hi:

I'm quite new and I'm sorry if this has been done before (tried to do a search - didn't find anything). I'd really like to know what you all do? Also how many of you have managed to quit and "live the dream"

I am a full time mortgage underwriter - (not for much longer if the market keeps tumbling) - I just realised that my job title has the word "writer" in it!!! :D.

I'm a receptionist (and assistant to the Operations manager) at a consulting company. It's not a bad gig at all, as jobs go.

I'm a male prostitute.... Business sucks, women just don't apprieciate the benefits of a middle aged balding man who can recite Shakespeare in old english while giving foot massages.

I'm a gardener/botany person working at a nursery/greenhouses and attempting to shift customers off their chem addictions to all things Scott's, Ortho, and Miracle-Gro back to organics and natural balances. I may have to create some sort of 12-step program for this.

I think it's your location, honestly. How much foot traffic is there in Gilman, IL?

I'm an executive secretary.
