Does anyone have experience with Overlook Press? I am starting to look more closely at small presses and came across this one. Any thoughts or info appreciated. Thanks.

I've reviewed a number of Overlook's books, and have been impressed with them all. Overlook has an eclectic and interesting list, and appears to do a good job with marketing and distribution. It's had some very successful books. IMO, it's a great indie press; I'd be happy to publish there.

It opened for me, but found no submission link or FAQ. I would like to ck out what genre they except.

It's funny, because one of the books on their front page, "The Lolita Effect" is the title of a novel I wrote like five years ago. Thank god it was terrible and I'll never ever want to work on it again.

Are their any Overlook authors in this forum who can speak to their experience with this press?

Only agented submissions, I gather. Is that strictly the case? Are they proactive about promoting a book once they accept one for publication? Are they supportive of their first time authors?
