I remember getting The Principle of Moments when I was 15. I had it in my Walk-man (yes, dating me) on hikes with my big bro, spending days scaling small mountains within walking distance from home. Maybe they were hills, but they had plenty of rocks. Good times on warm New Year's days for New England. I remember listening to this while looking for foot-holds and hand-holds in the rocks.
We never spent much time indoors.
Now, I'm in a shoddy place, with a view near the video's setting; I'm overlooking a gas station.
Soon, I will be on the road, ready to say goodbye to this year I've spent in this place.
My love is in league with the freeway, with motion and transition. I'll have a full tank in six cylinders and no regrets.
