There are tall (like, seven feet high) ones made of pottery or something, which have a grilled bit at the front - you could easily stick someone (or something)'s head in there to kill it. Maybe like that?

oooh, I like that.

Wait, no, stop! I have enough unfinished, half-started, begging to be used ideas as it is. I do not need more.

:badthoughts:

I spend a lot of time on complex wordplay which nobody understands as it is - the last thing I need is to deliberately screw with readers' minds.

YES! I CAN use a chimaera in this scene. AWESOME! :D

YAY! :snoopy:

ETA: And Laurie, if you're self-publishing, I can see an argument for sending a work off for copyright, sure. But aren't you with Damnation Books? They do that for you, don't they?

I'm not with anybody, not since my stint with Black Label ended. Sam is a self-pubbed re-release of a toned down edition of one I'd had with Black Label, but under my own name since I axed my pen name.

Also, I have a chiminea.

It's not 7 feet tall or anything, though. That'd be cool. Ours is just 4.

But I do not have a chimera. :e2bummed:

Oh--wait--*I'm* down there?

(also, did I know Night had a lair?)

Just shove past the cows and make yourself home on that rock over there. Nevermind all the bones and skulls, those were just some knights that wanted to play.

Hungry?

I can always char a cow up for ya.

Is the lair in the dungeon?

We need a map.

The Cantina has a map.

Why don't we have one?

Yes, it is. I guard the dungeon, but the bad one not the one where kinky stuff happens. The walls aren't that thick. If I have to hear screaming, someone had better be getting tortured.
