Right! ugh! But at least I'm out of there. w00t!

I only know a few wrestlers, not really a sport I watch, Hulk Hogan...John Cena...the Undertaker a few more if someone brings up there names, but that's about it.

Thanks Abby...I think...by 'not the same around here with our...' means that you missed me, right? Because when I'm here I add like something spectacular to the thread...right? lol!

Oh, no--I don't watch wrestling. I just like The Rock as an actor/personality.

Boxing, however...that's a different story.

Well, that works too.

:D

As an actor, I'm kind of fond of him myself. He's got decent acting chops, and doesn't seem to take himself too seriously.

It's that, I think. That's his certain something.

Considering he seems to alternate the more serious, actiony flicks with the kid flicks, it works out. And of his more serious flicks, it was the Rundown I liked best. Mainly because it had that quirky sense of humor.

Oh dear. I'm confused. If an 8yr-old is liking anything else than his *acting*....I have a problem...

And a discussion to have with a kidlet in the morning.

um...I was thinking of hero worshiping...what were you thinking? :O

Oh, dear. The bartender (not my wannabe future ex-girlfriend) just bought me a shot and I can already feel it kicking my ass. I gotta' go home...

Got 1500 words done this evening on a rewrite of a 2008 story y'all might remember called "Knock On Wood". The original story was around 2900 words.

It's pushing 5k now.

It needed some serious reworking, Night. Those 1500 are mainly original additions to the story and incorporating some better characterizations and a few darker elements. The new version should be almost twice as long as the first.

Oh, and another copy of "Survival" sold overnight on Amazon. Between it and "Infection" I've got another couple of steady sellers.

Whoops! Make that 3 copies of "Survival". Two on Amazon and another over on PubIt! For the Nook. Woot!

Afternoon Hounds.

They are issuing a snow warning tonight. I'm not kidding. I was in short sleeves and sandals Friday.

So, whichever one of us has the voodoo doll of Mother Nature, put it the @#$% down and walk away and no one will ask any awkward questions.

Strange to hear about snow right now. I think it's eighty something outside, not a cloud in the sky. Unfortunately though it looks like Texas is gearing up for another summer of wildfires and drought. :/

It has been a really weird winter/spring. Hope you don't get too much, Bos.

They are saying potential 4". I don't know that we'll get that, or less, or more - all kind of depends. First snow storm of the season they said we'd get just 6" and it was more like three feet.

Hey, I was in short sleeves and sandals. It was 70. That was Friday.

And now... Well, now they've downgraded it some, but still. Had to pull the plants in.

Again.
