[Publisher] Haven Books

Hi guys, I have a friend who received offers of publication from 2 English publishers from overseas and a request for a full from another. She asked me if I knew anything about them and if I’d help her make up her mind on what to do. Most of the publishers mentioned on AW are within N. America or the UK, but I thought I’d get your opinions on these ones. I’ll start a new thread for each one.

English publisher out of Hong Kong.
Seems to have great distribution, but I’m still not sure about actual sales.

Looks like no one has any opinions on, or experience with these guys - but as my question drifted to the second page rather fast I thought I would give this thread just a gentle nudge back up the list.

they look like a solid publisher to me. what size print runs do they do? At least they're not POD, or don't appear to be anyway. I'd put them on the list of places to query, but they'd go after the domestic comercial publishers, and after the international ones in countries with a larger base of English speakers. they've had some major success with some of their titles - in the millions of sales- so that's nothing to scoff at. They would, however, go leaps and bounds above any POD or Ebook publisher. that's just my opinion from a quick look at the sites. Actually, all the ones you posted links to would fall under that catagory.

ETA: correction - it was the flame of the forrest publisher that you listed that had some of their titles sell in the millions. this one still looks good but that flame one would top the list of the ones you posted links to.
