Hi, I am excited to find a forum with such deep wisdom!
I need to get serious with words.

I have pecked out a few hundred thousand words in about five hundred note titles using the Notes App on my iPad.
I know that there are a few good ideas in there, I may do a blog or book.
So I need help crunching my words. My iPad is too slow, I need something else.
Which is best sub forum to ask about hardware and software for organizing my words?

Hi Down,

Welcome to the forum. This is a great one and I wish I had joined it sooner. Have you looked into Scrivener?

Welcome to the Water Cooler. :welcome:

You could try the Tech Help forum. I've also seen some threads that might answer your questions in the Tech Help FAQs.

Good luck. :)

Welcome to AW, and you can +1 me to any Scrivener recommendation. When I'm out and about or on the go, I use Google Drive, since it's what my phone and tablet do best, but at home, or in the garden, 100% Scrivener.

That's impressive. I can't stand sending even a paragraph using an iPad. You do all that without a keyboard?

Welcome to the forums!

Scrivener is definitely a good shout - especially since you can use it on your phone/ipad on the go as well. It's pretty simple to synch your manuscript across all your devices.
And it's great for organising your manuscript which should really help figure what you can turn your writings into. It's not a complex program so I figure most laptops could run it.

Scivener I've heard of that before, thanks for the tip.
