Interesting. Wonder what percentage they take when they act as an "agent"?

Doesn't someone around here say: "The money's supposed to flow in the direction of the writer/author."?

Still, I'm tempted to put my "Grasshopper" essay up to see what happens ... but I think I'm too cheap.

I don't think it's a display site, exactly--more like one of those faux syndication services where people post articles in hopes they will be republished elsewhere by people looking to fill up their websites or newsletters with cheap content. From the Terms and Conditions: "The primary reason for submitting your article to our website is for the chance to be picked up by Caboome publishers or webmasters to be reprinted to their respective audiences."

Unlike some other services of this sort, Caboome charges fees and doesn't provide remuneration for republication.

The founder of this site has real writing credits.
