Hi. This is my first post in a forum. Honestly, I'm a little nervous. Like many, I've been lurking here for a bit and finally decided to join.

Let's see . . . about me . . . I write romance in just about any genre, but I do focus more on fantasy/paranormal and contemporary. I've tried writing YA, but fail epically most times - it always seems to morph into adult. I'm not published. Yet. Hopefully, I will be one day. :) (Look at that, I just posted a smiley face!!)

Anyway, that's about it for now. See ya around the boards!

Hello, and welcome! I'm new too.

I write fantasy and sci-fi that always ends up with romance in it (not sure how that works) and even though I don't read any YA fiction -- at all -- I've been told more than once that my stories tend toward YA themes. Argh! Oh well. :D

Welcome. There's nothing wrong with not being able to write YA. Different authors have different strengths.

Don't worry, we don't bite.

Well, that is, unless you smell like bacon. ;)
