Hey guys. Does anyone know where I can buy three hole paper online? I think that's what it's called.
Thanks for the help!!

Buy a punch; you're paying a premium of two-three bucks a ream for the holes.

Are you in Viking land? How far away is the nearest Staples/Office Depot/Office Max?

The shipping cost for a box of paper can kill you. Why not get it at the store?

A couple of the links posted in this recent thread, Paper?? + card covers, brads, hole puncher, etc. (http://absolutewrite.com/forums/showthread.php?t=96332) included paper supplies, plus the advantage of buying pre-holed paper.

Seriously, Avid -- paper is really heavy and the shipping costs, unless you've got some free-shipping deal, are going to be horrendous -- more than the cost of the paper.

There's got to be some place near you which, if it doesn't carry the stuff, you can order it and have it delivered to them and you pick it up from them.

And by the way -- you can buy heavy duty three-hole punches (that's what I use) -- in which case you can buy the cheaper unpunched copy paper (which is what I also do).

The heavy hole punchers let you punch through twenty pages at a time with no problem and you can hole punch a screen play in five stacks (six, if you're script is too long).

In the long run, it'll save you money -- especially if you're contemplating having paper shipped to you.

:DIt's not that I'm lazy. I just liked the idea of having paper with holes in them already. I have a huge box of regular paper which I use for my novel writing. I will just use some of those. I ordered a sturdy hole puncher on Amazon last night.:Hug2:

I picked up three to four of them the last time I went to Office Max.

I generally just print out my draft on plain paper and have my local copy joint (3¢ a page, plus free brads) xerox the submission copies. Getting three-holed paper, a punch or brads becomes a non-issue (although I still have all of them in case I need to print out a full script in a hurry).
