Good evening to you all from shortbready Scotland! Here in Glasgow it is a nippy zero degrees centigrade, and there is a halo around the moon. A sign of the Apocalypse? YOU DECIDE!
So yes, very happy to have found this forum, and looking forward to a long and pleasant stay!

Welcome to AW and good evening from an equally chilly Glasgow. Can't see the moon from here though. I could look out the window, but then I'd have to, like, get up. ;)
Hope you enjoy your time here!

I've only been here ten minutes and I've already met another Glaswegian! We seem to proliferate everywhere! :)
I would recommend a look, that is if it's still there. It's quite chilling - in a completely different manner than the temperature! Quite creepy!

If an ugly little dog called haggis stops in to greet you, tell him I'm looking for him, will ye? Thanks.

Going by Centigrade, we're well below zero here in EDINBURGH, Indiana, USA. Moon is shining through a hole in the clouds. My paternal Grandma was a Duncan and 3 of my 7 kids are redheaded. We have snow on the ground. And curiously, not a kilt or bagpipe in sight.:D
You wouldn't happen to have a membership to St. Andrews? If so, got my clubs ready.:poke:

Hello from the cold hills of Ohio!
bluntforcetrauma, I am a ginger as well! Primarily Scottish-Irish heritage, with a decent measure of English! Hooray for us Celtic folks!
Someday I am going to go to Scotland and reconnect with my family's roots, in the meantime I just have to be satisfied with listening to The Fratellis and drooling over David Tennant....sigh...

You are my favourite so far!

OK, then I'm pretty sure you're not who I thought you were ........:)
Unless you've got a beard?
Lemmie

I've got a bit of a beard...
*Is a little bit scared*
Mr Flibble
02-20-2008, 10:40 PM
What sort of beard?
Although for some strange reason I can't imagine the actual Lemmy fancying David Tennant ( me on the other hand, weeelll I wouldn't kick him out of bed if I happened to find him there).
Lemmie
02-20-2008, 10:42 PM
A rather thin beard. Dark. Would look (and indeed does) better shaved.
First off - is the Lemmie you know a Scot? Are you a Scot?

The Lemmy I know is from Stoke on Trent, and kind of world famous
As in the joke in Airheads:
If God and Lemmy were in a wrestling match who would win?
Er, God?
No D*ckhead, trick question, Lemmy IS god.
And only a bit of me is Scot. About as much as my left leg.
Lemmie
02-20-2008, 10:47 PM
Oh well then. I'm not that one. :D
Sorry to disappoint.

Hmm well I know a few Glasgie lads. But I don't think they could put together a string of coherent words. Not why I liked them though - I like my men rough and ready ;)
Lemmie
02-20-2008, 11:00 PM
I can join you in that sentiment - to a certain extent anyway.
Mr Flibble
02-20-2008, 11:21 PM
My men have to have a certain amount of roughty toughtyness - I have a tendancy to break them otherwise.
