I'm the kind of person who likes to study just about every available philosophy out there. I was raised Baptist, but have been everything from a Buddhist to an Epicurist down through the years. However, about three years ago, I experienced a personal crisis in my life that effectively disenchanted me with the beliefs that I was holding at the time. And since then, I've been drifting for the most part, not quite sure what to believe about much of anything.

Thankfully, over the past six months or so, I had begun to develop a few spiritual theories of my own. Nothing extremely fancy or complex. Just a small set of notions that kept sticking around in my head, and which refused to be dismissed. After awhile, I began to jot them down and started taking notes, allowing my ideas to coalesce. These notes eventually turned into the idea for a small personal website, which I just recently launched, as a means of sharing my ideas with others (and hopefully getting constructive feedback).

If anyone is interested in checking out my ideas, the link is http://www.freewebs.com/multideism

And don't worry, there's nothing commercial about the website. It's just a small personal page that I created that contains my philosophical ideas along with a copy of my MySpace blog for those who wish to know me a little better.

Please, don't be shy about sending me feedback on the site. I'd enjoy hearing what others think about my ideas. Thanks.

I like your book format - it looks really good.

Your philosophy, as I understand it, reminds me of: "many paths - one gate"

Multideism to my ear sounds like multiple gods but if I understand you correctly - it isn't so much that there is more than one - there is more than one name for the One.

Some folks will like it; some will hate it (and you by default). A wise person will realize that's not their bag - it's yours. I believe each person has to find his own way through the gate.

You're right about the name. Multi = many, and Deus = Divine or god. So technically, Multideism could imply the concept of "many gods." It was my intention to convey the concept of my acceptance for a multitude of faces and forms for the Divine, while still keeping the title in question as simple as possible. So rather than add any more root concepts to Multi and Deus, I just decided to keep it simple and hope people would understand the intention behind it.

I'm glad you like the website's graphical design. I thought it would suit the material nicely. Although I can't take any credit for it, as it's simply one of those pre-made templates that some webhosts offer. I just picked it from a line-up.

Thanks for the feedback!
