1. Regarding Space, is there a need to write the time of day?

EXT. SPACE – MORNING

or

2. When someone is sending a radio message, is it necessary to use a parenthetical? Or do you announce it in the action line? What exactly do you do?

JOE

(radios)

Good call.

or

Joe radios.

JOE

Good Call.

or?

3. If someone is in the interior of a plane, if you want to describe where they are in actuality, how would you write it?

INT. JOE'S JET: AIRPORT RUNWAY - MORNING

or

INT. JOE'S JET,AIRPORT RUNWAY - MORNING

or?

4. Finally, my last question is if a plane is moving and you want to show it from the interior, how would you write it?

1. Regarding Space, is there a need to write the time of day?

Nope and no need for EXT. but you can put a time refrence from previous scene. Ie...

SPACE – MOMENTS LATER
or
SPACE -

2. When someone is sending a radio message, is it necessary to use a parenthetical? Or do you announce it in the action line? What exactly do you do?

If Joe is just a voice over a radio, you need an off screen and no need for parens when it can go in the action. Ie...

A mixture of Joe and static comes through the radio.

JOE (O.S.)
Good call.

or, if Joe is seen and talking to someone on the radio, then put it in the action.

Joe picks up the handset and clicks on the radio.

JOE
Good call

3. If someone is in the interior of a plane, if you want to describe where they are in actuality, how would you write it?

EXT. AIRPORT - MORNING

Planes sit on the tarmack. One plane, a beat up old DC10, sticks out like a sore thumb. Rust is the only thing holding it together.

INT. JOE'S JET -

Joe straps himself in the pilot's seat. He does a sign of the cross as the plane jerks from the tow car. A botton pops off the console above.

4. Finally, my last question is if a plane is moving and you want to show it from the interior, how would you write it?

INT. JOE'S JET - MORNING

Through the cockpit window, Joe watches the plane moving down the runway. He grins like a father proud of a son as the plane rises into the air.

EXT. SKY -

Joe's old plane motors gracefully through the clouds.

JOE (O.S.)
Woo Hoo!
