What's on your list for Santa this year?

Clothes? Computers? Books? Music? Girly or Hunk Calendar?

I wanted a new Habs jersey...but I bought myself one on the weekend. I want nothing.

I don't usually get gifts for Christmas, so I want and expect nothing. If I need something, I'll just buy it myself.

Honestly, all I really want is to finish my WIP research and get back home, but it won't happen till February-March - ish.

Books. Continued good health. My list is not long this year.

An agent?

If that fails, a TJ Maxx gift card works in a pinch.

Jeez, yeah, that would be a grand present.

Maybe we could go grab ourselves a couple of 'em, ala Chevy Chase's brother kidnapping the boss in National Lampoon's Christmas.

Interesting, how my upcoming Interviews coincide with the Holidays. I want a job for Christmas. That's probably my only wish. :)

I want... damn, I don't know what I want...

I know - I want my son to begin really speaking (he's 25 months old and doesn't say more than "go" or "light" - he's got this thing for lights. If they're on, he wants them off. If they're off, he wants them on.) That's what I want. To know that he's okay and just doing things in his own time.

Wow, thanks for asking, Rhymegirl. I don't know where to begin, but I'll give it a try:
1. A book deal.
2. A maid service.
3. Evil flying monkeys.
4. Gutters on my house.

But it looks like Santa will be passing me by again this year.

Otherwise, a gazillion dollars.

I'd like to meet a nice, preferably attractive man who is interested in most of the things I'm interested in, lives close enough to date, and doesn't have any weird-stalker-ex's following him around.

And if he had his own car that runs, his own bank account that is not constantly overdrawn, and happens to be a 'financially performing agent employed by one of the top publishers'...

Well, I will be almost as happy as I would be if we really did have 'Peace on Earth and Good Will toward People' for two weeks

Alternately, I'd like my basement finished and exercise equipment.

Alternately, I'd like to sleep late and have the rest of the week off, paid.

What I want (and will get myself) for Christmas and New Year is:

Is that a Boston Terrier?

Aside from some books (including those written by AWers!), I honestly can't think of anything I really want for Christmas. I would say a kitten but we can't have one where we live now and I know we're probably going to get one when we move in April.

Anyways it seems like quite a few of us are in the category of not really wanting or needing much. How fortunate we are! Just wanted to encourage people that if you're in this position, you might want to think about giving something to someone less fortunate this holiday season. There are a lot of good organizations out there.

I'll be my normal boring self and state;

I don't believe in Santa Claus, Christmas and everything that goes with it. Therefore I don't wish for anything, and I also do not buy anything for anyone. Gifts I prefer to give spontaneously on any odd day. If I need something, like Maestrowork and Scarletpeaches, I buy it myself.

a battery for my crappy old laptop so I'm not connected to the wall all the time...

a new laptop....I'd love a Mac but fear the transition from a PC. Is it really that difficult???

And a bigger bookshelf.

New pots and pans but I'll settle for one big stock pot.

BMW 750 or 760, white. Or black.

And if Jay finds her man, I’ll take his brother. :D A car, bank account and employment are a plus they’ll get you in the door faster.

An entire day, cuddling in bed with my family and watching movies. An entire snowy day, cuddling with myself in a comfy outfit watching movies and drinking wine.

In addition:

Road trip
New Job
To release my 'muse' from prison... or was it to release my 'soul mate' from prison... I can't remember.

Mine's easy, really.

A bottle of perfume. A specific kind. Chanel's Allure. Failing that, a new bottle of RL's Romance.

Love me some perfume. My favorite gift, next to books. :D

ETA: Well, there is something else. Not anything material. I'm hoping my lil guy's EEG on the third comes back clean, with no seizures. If I get that, I'll go stinky-free the rest of my life. :)

Living here in Turkey, I've had an opportunity to browse a bit.
I've picked out six ginormous rugs that have a King Henry VIII feel to them; hunting scenes depicted, medieval ladies. My house is decorated in old world style, medieval, Greek/Roman and a splash of Tuscany. Swords, statues, knights, tartans, helms...ye' get the picture.

So, X-mas for me?
Above mentioned rugs.
And a 24 inch flat screen monitor for my other computer.

You have to understand...Dec 10th is my anniversary--cha ching--then there's X-mas--uber cha ching--and and Jan 9th is my birthday--uber uber cha ching ching.

This is the time of year my husband dreads. He's like Mr. Crabs when it comes to his moneeeee.
Pffff.
